Organiser Information

The IBA 2026 Conference is organised by the International Association for Bear Research and Management (IBA) and hosted and coordinated by Rewilding Apennines, Rewilding Europe and the Abruzzo Lazio e Molise National Park.

Rewilding Apennines is the legal seller and administrator of all conference tickets.

Ticket Types

Tickets available through this website include:

• Professional Full Conference
• Student Full Conference
• 1-Day, 2-Day, and 3-Day Conference Tickets
• Banquet Dinner Tickets
• Member Discounts (available only to verified current members of the International Association for Bear Research and Management)

Tickets are delivered as digital confirmations with a PDF attachment. Attendees may print this ticket if desired, though digital presentation is encouraged to reduce environmental impact.

All tickets are personal and non-transferable.

Eligibility and Membership Verification

Member-discounted tickets are available only to current IBA members. Membership is automatically verified during checkout through integration with the Neon CRM membership database. If a membership is invalid or expired at the time of purchase, the buyer will be asked to resolve the issue or pay for a non-member ticket.

Payment and Pricing

• All prices are quoted in Euros (EUR) and inclusive of 22% Italian VAT.
• Payments are securely processed through Stripe (Italy).
• IBA and Rewilding Apennines do not store or have access to your full credit card details.

If a pricing or system error occurs, the organiser reserves the right to cancel or adjust affected orders and issue refunds where applicable.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Our refund conditions are designed to balance fairness to attendees with the financial commitments required to deliver the conference.

Conference Tickets:

• Fully refundable until 1st August 2026.
• No refunds available after that date.

Banquet Dinner Tickets:

• Fully refundable until 1st August 2026.
• No refunds available after that date.

Processing Fees: All refunds will have payment processing and administrative fees deducted (these are non-recoverable from our payment processor).

Transfers: Conference tickets are non-transferable. If you cannot attend, you may cancel within the applicable refund window.

Event Cancellation or Postponement:

• If the event is cancelled, all tickets will be refunded in full (minus Stripe processing fees if applicable).
• If the event is postponed, attendees may choose either a full refund or to retain their ticket for the new dates.

Restrictions on Sale

Due to international sanctions and trade restrictions, we do not allow conference participation from residents or nationals (either individuals or entities) located in: Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, or Venezuela.

Event Participation and Conduct

By attending the IBA 2026 Conference, you agree to participate respectfully and professionally. The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any participant engaging in disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour. No refunds will be offered in this situation.

Photography and Media

Photography and videography will occur throughout the conference and banquet dinner. By attending, you grant IBA and Rewilding Apennines permission to use your image or likeness in conference-related materials, social media, and promotional content. If you have concerns about being photographed, please contact us prior to or during the event.

Tickets and Admission

• Admission is granted on presentation of your digital or printed ticket.
• Tickets may only be used once. Duplicate or shared use is not permitted.

Liability

IBA and Rewilding Apennines will make every reasonable effort to ensure the conference proceeds as planned. However, we are not responsible for losses resulting from circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, travel disruptions, strikes, or public health emergencies). Liability is limited to the ticket amount paid.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law. Any disputes arising in connection with ticket sales or participation in the conference will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy.
